Join the Team

Below are a few rules that are non-negotiable.

  1. you compete. Period.  There are no exceptions to this.  (at least 3 contests a year your first year, 1 or 2 per year after that).
  2. You do the routines I write for you.  You work hard AND smart.
  3. You purchase weightlifting shoes and a singlet (can’t compete without them)
  4. You Join USA Weightlifting.  This is the governing body of the sport.
  5. You stay positive and come to practice with a good attitude.  It’s supposed to be fun, remember?

If this doesn’t appeal to you (maybe you aren’t interested in joining a competitive club, or in competing), but you still want to learn how to do the Olympic Weightlifting movements, then you can hire me as your sports performance coach, and I will teach you how to use the Olympic Weightlifting movements to enhance your game.

I’m trying hard to make Olympic Weightlifting accessible as a sport to more and more people.  I love it.  But, it’s a lot of work on my part.  Don’t waist my time.

If you come with a good attitude and you’re serious, I can and will help you.
