Olympic Weightlifting
“Olympic Weightlifting” is many things, including a competitive Olympic sport and a collection of some of the most important exercises an athlete needs to do in order to maximize their potential.
Research has shown that Olympic weightlifters have the highest vertical jumps of any athlete, including volleyball players, and basketball players. Research has also shown that Olympic weightlifters have the fastest 20 meter dash of any athlete including sprinters!
How will Olympic weightlifting benefit you? Learning to do the snatch, the clean, the jerk, push press, and front squat, and other essential exercises properly will increase your overall power output, strength, vertical jump, 40 yard dash, and overall conditioning.
