Below are some of the highlights from the 2010 Oregon Weightlifting Championships.  Thanks to Chris for uploading these to his youtube page (which you can visit here). 3 of the women competed too, but we don’t have video up yet – sorry!

Chris hits a PR 87.5k Snatch on his way to a massive 7.5k PR total:

Chris and a big 112.5k Clean and Jerk (a 5k PR!), and solidifies his first 200k total!

Coach Nick (me!) makes an easy 115k clean only to miss the Jerk WAY forward!

OK, here’s the lift I actually made before the above fiasco!

Kid’s DON’T try this at home.  I should have missed this lift – my back knee hit the floor – but the judges just barely missed it.  Something tells me they’ll be watching my knee from now on!

Again, Amy, Celia, Leslie, and Brandon competed also, but we have yet to upload any video. I seem to remember that someone did record them. So, when I track that down, I’ll put it up!
